# Choose a schedule template

> Start from a weekday pattern or build your schedule yourself.

During setup, the **Schedule** step offers these starting points:

| Choice | Schedule |
| - | - |
| Standard workday | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; 45 hours per week |
| Early schedule | Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm; 40 hours per week |
| Skip for now | Add your own entries later |

Choose a template, then **Continue**. Review the resulting dates and shifts on your calendar after setup; you can [edit entries](/schedule/edit-shift) to match your household.

A template is a starting schedule. Use [Copy Week](/schedule/reuse) when you want to reuse a week's entries.
